About these YR4 Maths papers
- Autumn
- This Year 4 Mathematics Paper 1 is an arithmetic assessment containing 20 calculation questions. It tests addition and subtraction of numbers up to four digits, multiplication and place value including times tables up to 12×12, and division problems. Questions include basic operations, missing number problems, and multi-step calculations involving the four operations.

Students work without calculators and have 35 minutes to complete the paper.
